| The bat that took up residence in my room at Rancho Naturalista was an interesting surprise, but made for a quiet roomate.
Having enjoyed our stay at Rancho, we next made our way to Hotel La Quinta near Chilamate, which is only a short drive from
Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui and the famous La Selva Biological Station. Arriving at the hotel around lunchtime, I took a quick stroll
around the expansive gardens, and was again surprised by all the iguanas, snakes, and caimans wandering around. |
