After all that time in the jungle, we flew back to Cusco and took a taxi to Ollentaytambo to catch the train to Aguas Calientes for the next two nights. The following morning we spent the day visiting Machu Picchu, climbing the mountain overlooking the ruins (Wayanpicchu), and walking back to Aguas. The next day was all travel, first the train back to Ollentaytambo, taxi back to Cusco via Pisac, flight to Lima, and lots of time hanging around Lima airport before heading home very late that evening.
