Pictures on this page start with some from Tokyo, and then a few from a day trip to Chuzen-ji and Nikko.  Tokyo was much less crowded and easier to get around than I'd expected, and the food was fabulous!  Chuzen-ji is a small town  in the mountains above Nikko, with a wonderful waterfall, a massive volcano (Mt. Nantai), and a Futarasan-jinja temple. Picked up some great souvenirs in Chuzen-ji, including a cool woodcarving of an owl.
