Arizona Birds

These are a few pictures taken on a business trip to Tucson, Arizona the first week of March 2005 (and again in 2006). Got there a day early and had a long wait before the flight home, so I managed to get to a few great spots, including the Sweetwater wetlands in NW Tucson, Agua Caliente Park in NE Tucson, Patagonia-Sonoita Preserve, Madera Canyon, and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Okay, I cheated a little at the latter spot....the broad-billed, owls, oriole, and pyrrhuloxia were in the aviaries. Click on any of the thumbnails for a larger version.
